Application Side-slip describes how far an axle�s wheels are misaligned away from rolling in the same direction. When driven in a straight line, a vehicle forces its tires to move straight ahead. If all tires are not pointing straight ahead, the results is tire scrubbing - as they are being dragged sideways. The result of excessive side-slip is uneven tire wear and shortened tire life. The tester is designed to measure a vehicle's front wheel alignment. As a vehicle's front wheel passes across the plate, fully automated measurements are taken and then passed to the system computer for pass/fail analysis. This tester detects the amount of the wheel alignment error shown in meters of side slip of tires, and can check the status of toe-in or toe-out of tires. The equipment consists of tester (main body) and display screen (industrial computer).
